Cake Indigo started in the early 2008 own by me, Chris Chan. Initially baking cake is just one of my leisure pursuits but after a while my cake got attention by my family and also compliment from relatives, neighbor and friends then it leads me to continue. I got inspired by some bakery shops for reference and do my own research in order to enhance my own baking skill. I feel that there is an opportunity to convert my interest to a business, therefore I plan to have my homemade cake house in my mind.

Together with my brother, we plan to have an online cake business and we are offering delivery service for our cake. In the beginning, we tried to sell our cake through web and to some of our friends before we really start our business. The response and feedback from the customers which is good thus it encourages us and we step forward for the homemade cake house. We realized that one of the reasons that our customers like our cake is because our cake is not sweet and the excellence in taste. We took our valued customer feedback in order to improve our cake and service. We also remain to use the finest ingredient for our cake in order to have the top quality of taste.

We decided to start our homemade cake business by creating an online homemade cake websote. We successfully launched our website on 1 May 2008 and we only got our cake shop name which is Cake Indigo with a motto, "Your Ideal Homemade Cake" at that time.

From time to time, we are trying to create new recipe in order to have more varieties for our customer to choose. We try to have new recipe in every 4-5 months. After 3 months since we launched our website, again we got some feedback from our customers and we appreciated it and therefore we decided to revamp our website with a brand new look, more varieties of cake, detailed information for ordering and delivery process. Not only that but we also decided to have our own loyalty card for our customer which is ideal for customer that frequently buy cake for celebration and also an appreciation from us.
